In 6 weeks, 15 tandems will be setting off from Morecambe in Lancashire to cycle the 170 Coast to Coast miles to Bridlington in East Yorkshire, to raise money for Goalball UK.

Each week we are introducing you to 2 of the participants:

Peter Doyle
Peter Doyle
Peter is from Huddersfield. He played Goalball throughout his school years at Moor End Academy and now plays for Kirklees. This season as well as playing at Intermediate level, he has made his debut at Elite. He is currently at college studying ICT Software and User Design, so no surprise that amongst his hobbies he lists ‘Taking computers apart to understand how they work.’
Natalie Jamieson
Natalie Jamieson
Natalie is from Kilwinning in North Ayrshire. She is currently studying Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde and plays for Glasgow Goalball Club. She enjoys playing as she says unlike other sports where her visual impairment disadvantages her, Goalball doesn’t. She is training really hard for this challenge – frequently going to the gym and attending spinning classes.
