From 2nd – 4th October a selection of England Talent players flew to Odense in Denmark to compete in an international tournament against various teams from Denmark and Sweden.
The team of Matt Loftus (North East), Liam Hall (Winchester), Kali Holder (Winchester) and Antonia Bunyan (York) played against tough opposition including players from Sweden who recently played in the final of the IBSA World Youth Championships. Overall GB won 3 games and drew 2 and remained undefeated to finish second which was a fantastic achievement for players who haven’t played in the same team before. There was plenty of positives to take away from the tournament and a special mention to Liam Hall who travelled abroad to play goalball for the first time!
