In early May Goalball UK with the help various local organisations have set up a new London based club. So far it has been a roaring success with over 40 unique participants.
The club has introduced some fantastic new talent into the sport as well as some great coaches. But so far the club has not had an official name, until now……..
Over the last week voting has been taking place to decide the name and last night the votes were counted and verified. The winning name, and therefore the name of our newest club is……..London Elephants!
The name originates from the location of the training venue in Elephant and Castle.
They will be competing in the 2016/17 season at Novice and Intermediate levels.
